About Course

The content of the course covers the general and specific objectives of the Mathematics syllabus, including the School-Based Assessment (SBA) experiments/practical activities.

This course focuses attention on the use of Mathematics as a problem-solving tool, as well as on some of the fundamental concepts which help to unify Mathematics as a body of knowledge. The course is available both online and in person.

Our courses encourage students’ curiosity, assist them in developing a variety of mathematical skills, and promote and uphold an understanding of the value of accuracy. We also help students understand how to utilize mathematics as a means of communication. This helps students recognize mathematics in their surroundings and cultivates the ability to apply mathematical knowledge to the solution of issues, which helps students view mathematics as a dynamic and exciting process and makes mathematics relevant to the interests and experiences of students.

Students have access to live sessions with an expert tutor, video-recorded lessons, fun activities, past-paper questions, PowerPoint presentations, weekly quizzes, free webinars, and more.

What Will You Learn?

  • Understanding place value, the importance of accuracy in computation, and appreciating the need for numeracy in everyday life.
  • What is the decimal numeration system and how to use rational approximations of real numbers and use number properties to solve problems?
  • Develop the ability to use patterns, trends, and investigative skills.
  • Perform the calculations required in normal business transactions, and in computing budgets.
  • Use set language and concepts to reason logically and appreciate the importance and utility of sets in analyzing and solving real-world problems.
  • Appreciate that all measurements are approximate and that the relative accuracy of a measurement is dependent on the measuring instrument and the measurement process.
  • Use concepts in statistics and probability to describe, model, and solve real-world problems.
  • How symbols and algebraic techniques are used in solving problems in mathematics and related fields.
  • Represent many mathematical relations in symbolic form, tabular or pictorial form.
  • How to apply trigonometrical methods to solve authentic problems.
  • How to as that do not satisfy the same rules of operation as the real number system?
  • Use vector notation and matrices concepts to model and solve real-world problems.
